Projekt NYC is proud to be partnering with the NYPD Community Affairs Bureau, the Guard Benevolent Association, and Comunidad Latinx for a Back-to-School Backpack Giveaway on Wednesday August 20th, 2025 and we need volunteers!

Projekt NYC is proud to be partnering with the NYPD Community Affairs Bureau, the Guard Benevolent Association, and Comunidad Latinx for a Back-to-School Backpack Giveaway on Wednesday August 20th, 2025 at 23-20 Newtown Ave, Astoria, NY from 2:00-5:30 PM and we need volunteers!
Volunteers are asked to arrive by 11:00 AM to assist with setup, the event runs through till 5:30pm, however you may leave at any time, just let us know how many hours you can commit.
This is a great chance to give back to the community, help local families prepare for the school year, and earn community service credit service hours for your time.
